The Forum, built in Assago (Milan) in 1990, is the most important multifunctional venue in the North of Italy where all big and prestigious national and international events are organized (concerts, sports competitions, exhibitions, conventions, etc.). It is built on three different levels for a total area of 40,000 sqm.: the main arena (with a parterre of 2.800 sqm.) at the first level, has a maximum capacity of 11,500 seats; the ground floor houses two big halls (2.500 and 1.600 sqm.) mainly used for conventions and fairs as well as one of the largest sport area in Europe (20,000 sqm.) open to the public daily; the second level is a wide ring (5,800 smq) connected to the main arena stands and used to host gala dinners, small conventions, congresses or exclusive events. Each level can host a different event at the same time or they can be all connected together for a big event using all spaces. Next to MEDIOLANUM FORUM is Teatro della Luna (1700 seats) built in 2003 and specialized in musicals productions. It is also used for corporate events, small concerts and comic shows. MEDIOLANUM FORUM hosted important live events such as the show of Madonna, U2, George Michael, Sting, Bruce Sprengsteen, Ricky Martin, Robbie Williams, Depeche Mode, Carlos Santana, Norah Jones, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Phill Collins, James Taylor, the MTV Music Awards and many more. Among the sport events: Regular Season Basketball, Davis Cup Final and NBA McDonald’s Championship.
